Hi everyone,
Well now our wee volcano has lessoned giving attention to itself I feel much more confident my dream may come true. Some of you know my life motto for 2010 is "Suck it up and build a bridge". Hope you are laughing because that is what those words have done for me each time I have faced something not to my taste. Well this recent eruption was going to be the real test!!!
Anyway on we surge. Packing has started in earnest and today I made the big step of deciding which way I was going to go re monies. Now that was an interesting exercise despite much research to be aware. The banks get you don't they no matter what you do hey! However there are" no pockets in heaven" so I am going to have a smashing time.
Part of my packing now has four different contact addresses in Ireland. Funny how all of a sudden you seem to become aware of different people in the country you are visiting. Scott has contacted me and is endevouring to come to join me in Dublin for a day or so. It will be great to see him and find out how he is going. He was caught in Turkey with the recent eruption but has returned back now.
Mary-Anne and I have just realized we will be in Ireland at the same time and so are going to meet up for a day in Killarney.
We live in wonderful times. Chat again before I go.
Cheers (literally)
Anne

Who would have thought, 35 years ago when we met that we would be 'blogging' across the world!? It's a long way from the 'red book.'
ReplyDeleteGo well my friend and enjoy every moment.

Well my friend- hope that you have arrived safely! The Blog is fab and I managed to get it up and running with the kids so we have been following along too. HOWEVER we are still learning how to respond to your questions (however they are verbally doing so!) Now you know how much I love you BUT one wee ques- how can I get my hands on the eval books so I can give them out??? And do not tell me to 'suck it up...!!!'
ReplyDeleteEnjoy xxxxxx
Hi Helen This is unreal. It is 5.15a.m. in the morning Saturday.Am wide awake so thought I would sticky at the blog and there you were-hooray. I have had the best two days despite the long flight. I am going to investigate if I can change the flight home and have a stop over in Singapore. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteToday I am going into Dublin city for the day. I plan to get on the hopon/hopoff bus and do just that-hopon and hopoff.
Now to answer your question- hey this is great. It wouldn't be us if there wasn't some tie about the kids hey. By now I think you will have the answer to your question. Dale has the Eval Books. She offered to take them instead of me going to school which I really didn't want to do. Make sure you sign the letter page at the front before you send them home.Ok will send this now .Hope it works.Fingers crossed.
Cheersand love to the family.
